Each month, we organize a virtual wine tasting event during which we invite you to discover the wines of a region of the world.
Because of the number of products available, and to make sure that the wine rating of Sommelier Virtuel are not limited to the personal tastes of a single individual, several individuals must review the same products. That is why we organize virtual tasting events.
Periodically, we will choose a region.
We will prepare a short test on the history, tradition, wines and producers.
We suggest products which stand out for their quality and which are representative of the region.
Each member is then asked:
To complete online reviews of these products;
To participate in discussion forums and online wine tasting;
To contribute to the content of the site by writing reviews and storries on wine.
To begin, we will present the major wine regions of the world, but with time we will return to the multiple sub-regions that make up each of these regions and will do so around the wine world.
We will take you through the path that we have already took to learn to distinguish the wine regions and their specific wines.
The neophyte who will make this journey with us will quickly learn about these regions and also to identify the wines of these regions.
